Carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and the National Population and Family Development Board (LPPKN), the objective of health awareness programmes is to support the overall well-being of MyKasih recipients.
Activities include health talks and group discussions on highly relevant topics such as disease prevention and early detection, family planning, nutrition, and healthy living.
Participants also receive basic medical screenings to check blood pressure, body mass index, glucose, and cholesterol levels.
Vision Screening and Free Spectacles
Good vision plays a vital role in a child’s learning, confidence, and daily life. Yet for many, it often goes unnoticed and unmet.
To address this need and in partnership with the Rotary Club of Puchong Centennial, nearly 1,000 students had their vision screened, with 180 prescription spectacles distributed since April 2019.

Health Awareness in Rural Orang Asli
Communities
In remote areas, where access to formal healthcare is limited, added support in nutrition and basic health knowledge can go a long way.
To bridge this gap, the Ministry of Health’s (MOH) Program Community Feeding (PCF) is being implemented in nine learning centres known as Pusat Didikan Komuniti Orang Asli.
In line with MOH’s guidelines, PCF aims to combat malnutrition by providing students with one complete, healthy meal each day along with milk powder and multivitamins.
Basic healthcare training is part of this initiative, empowering community representatives to respond more swiftly when health concerns arise.
